Professional Training
Dr Nita Ling graduated in Medicine & Surgery in 1988 from the University of Tasmania, after completing a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Bachelor of Science with Honors Degree in Physiology and Pharmacology (Tissue Culture) at the University of Queensland.
She then trained and studies in surgery for a further 12 years, culminating in admittance to the Fellowship of Royal Australian College of Surgeons in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Experience & Expertise
Dr Ling is fully qualified as a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and is a member of the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Australian Society of Plastic Surgery and Queensland Society of Plastic Surgery.
Dr Ling has been trained in all areas of Plastic Surgery including Cosmetic Surgery, Skin Cancer Surgery, Reconstructive Surgery and Microsurgery.
In 2000 Dr Ling was the proud recipient of the ASPA Australasian Cosmetic Surgery Prize Essay. Dr Ling assists in the training of Qld and Australian Doctors in surgical techniques.

Accounts & Fees
For your appointment you need to obtain a referral from your GP (valid for 12 months), or from a specialist (valid for 3 months).
Initial consultations range from $160 - $200 depending on the length of your consultation. This is payable of the day and EFTPOS facilities are available.
An estimate of operation fees and payment details will be provided to you before your surgery. If you have any concerns about the costs involved please bring this to our attention prior to any treatment. Consultation and General Plastic Surgery procedures attract medicare and private insurance rebates. Cosmetic Surgery procedures do not attract any rebates and a 10% GST levy applies.
Veteran Affairs and Work Cover patients accounts are sent directly to the insurer and no charges are incurred by the patients. |
